No, you will waste your life trying to get the computer to do what typewriters did just fine – “I need to type a document, I scroll a piece of paper into the typewriter, I type what I need, pull out the paper and walk away, onto other things.” Instead of googling “Funny marks on word,” coming here, going down the list and the MARKS ARE STILL THERE, and finally you say to yourself, “Ok, the document has to be written and printed, so i guess I HAVE to have these marks.”Ģ0 minutes of your life wasted – AGAIN. WHY WHY WHY WHY must anyone who tries to use a computer be required not to edit their photos, not to type a document, not to use various apps, but instead to waste their lives TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG AND JUST FIX IT. WHY does WORD assume I want these little markings? Who uses them, and why? How many sheer hours, days, weeks, months do we spend trying to get these stupid machines to just WORK –

Additionally, this utility can be used to find out how many lines are in your text. The input data of the test would be text without line numbers and the output data would be the same text but with line numbers added before each line. This program can help you write unit tests for this use case.
Without line numbers added to input data, the user would have to count the lines himself or herself to find the line with an error but if you enumerate lines for the user and add line numbers to the input text, then the user can quickly find the line in question. For example, if your a webapp counts how many lines a user has entered in a form and it checks the format of each line, then if the user makes a mistake, it may be a good idea to tell them which line the mistake happened. Alternatively, you can delete the special layer created by the script (in the Layers panel) to remove all the line numbers throughout the document.
